The Sandia Church of the Nazarene is committed to helping people.  We believe that part of being a Christian is being compassionate, as Christ was. We give away more than half of our income to people who are not yet a part of our church. We do that in the form of our major outreach events, food distribution, hot meals, the Grace Thrift Store, and various other means. Because of this continuing generosity to the community, we are often contacted by those in need of help. We cannot meet every need. We will, however, try to meet as many as possible within the constraints of our mission statement. Our primary objective is to see the Gospel preached to the whole world. We believe that although Christ was compassionate to those who were hurting, his primary purpose was to see sins forgiven, souls saved, and lives changed. Therefore we WILL NOT give assistance without attendance to one of our worship services, events, or Bible Studies.

If you are in need of food, we serve hot meals at the church during the following times:

Sunday Morning @ 10:00 AM (Mountain)
